She already suffered the side effects of one of Adalinds potions. Yet when it is Nick risking himself and suffering the consequences he is seen as gallant. Such as going up against all of BC by himself. Because of what Juliette did I will always see her as having more character then Adalind has ever shown. Can anyone imagine Adalind risking her life for someone else. Even Eve was willing to take on the entire factory by herself to save Nick and friends. She did it without looking for any gratitude from any of them. To me until Adalind risk herself for someone else, even if it is her kids. I will always see her as self serving.
That's not why Juliette is seen in the negative. I don't even dislike her character as much as others but we can't keep falling back on smoking the hat to excuse her later actions. Juliette is responsible for everything she did once she got her Hexenbiest powers under control. I don't even blame her for blowing up the car or that fight at the bar. That can be forgiven. Nick has made obvious errors which he needs to be held accountable for and a lot of posters have done just that but he needs to stop being blamed for everything Juliette did while she was a Hexenbiest.
I'm wondering what Juliette thought about Monroe and Rosalee. Did she think of them as just Nick's friends or hers as well? I believe it's the latter so she took it upon herself to aid them. She's not a child. She's a grown woman who decided to step up and take a risk to herself to aid them. I'm on record saying that Nick should have dumped Juliette years ago if he truly cared about her safety and he holds responsibility for that but it doesn't absolve Juliette deciding not to leave him and getting involved in his world.
For example, Juliette could have left him after having her home invaded by the Siegbarste and being kidnapped by the Damonfueur but she decided to stay with him and arm herself instead. Nick should have broken up with her but she made the decision that being with him trumped her own personal safety. It reminds me of when Nick said he was no longer going to ask Monroe for any more help after he was jumped but Monroe chose not to be scared off and implored Nick to keep coming to him for help. They all share responsibility in this crazy world of theirs. I would say the same if Wu were to hold Nick personally responsible for the Lycanthropy after he decided to immerse himself in the Grimm/Wesen world.
