The wesen were fighting oppression from royalty. I wondered if this might be the same thing only oppression on a larger scale. In other words, oppression from the council, oppression from the royalty. oppression from Grimms, and oppression from their own kind.
This idea is interesting... In the past wesen were oppressed by the royals. Grimms were some kind of royal police against the wesen.
In this scenario grimms would still represents those who oppress the wesens and then would still be the ones to be destroyed. But grimms are just the soldiers… They are not the leaders of the oppression. The wesens still need a target… I mean a leader of the oppression that the wesen want to stop. Do you think the wesen would see the humans as the oppressors? I am asking this because the royals don’t have the power anymore, but they are still humans. Some wesen may oppress other wesen, but not all of them. And the council avoid wesen to show their true nature to the world because they don’t want the human hunt the wesen like it happened in the past. Actually, that is what I understand from the show.
