Putting Nick in a suite would not work, it is to bulky a prop and adds to much complication to the fight scene. Using something like a sword or some other weapon as a lighting rod would not work. Just like everyone keeps saying for Juliette to just use ANicks blood. Us following the show figure that will not work. Plus the writers wanted something that would still allow the solution to be part of Nick being a Grimm. What was not explained would the past work on anyone or only Grimms. I ask because Nick did not wnat to pierce his ears and Hanks are already pierced why not let Hank use the paste or why did they both not use the paste. The makes me think it is a Grimm thing. AI am just waiting for the past to have a side effect. How about some one tries to taser Nick and he comments that it tickles.
Is it only me but the Juliette arc is over powering the rest of the show. I was so focused on what was going on with Juliette that I over looked so much of what was going on else where. I had to go back and re-watch it, that is when I started to contemplate the paste might have some other significance other then the solution to the WOW problem. I even missed Hank educating Wu how he can spot wesen even when he can't see them. Would have been a piece of information Nick could have used when Chavez was checking to see if Nick was a Grimm. Using Hank logic Nick would have noticed chavez was woging even though he could not see her. If at that point he had mentioned to Chavez that she was wesen Chavez would have never went after Trubel. Of course it would have really confused Chavez as to how Nick knew she was wesen and her not see he was a Grimm. I wonder if the Juliette distraction is like a magic trick the writers want you to focus over here so you don't see the actual setup somewhere else.
