OK, the wesenrein are bad people, we get the message! Actually I was thinking just the opposite. I forgot to mention that I thought the art department deserved some kudos. I imagine the director came t them and said Ok we need some costumes, sets and props that fall halfway between Nazis and KKK.

If anyone gets a flash of deja vu while reading this, it's not you, it's me; posted my review in the wrong place.
Great episode, thinking Renard has some secret operatives he calls on because of the man he gave the order to in his office (who is not a lausenschlange, wrong again!). Juliette's plight remains unsolved until later. Shaw's undistinguished life is over at the hands of the Grandmaster. So happy Wu is in the loop! Waiting to see this awful group get what's coming to them and I hope it's at the hands of Monroe. Can't wait until next week!

I'm not so sure. the way the characters are written, Monroe would end up killing them all. Not sure thats what the writers want on prime time tv. It looks like Juliette and Rosalee are going to conduct their own investigation. Maybe the get there first. plus we got the Captain's whatever going after them. and of course the police. so there could be a convergence of forces. How about this for an unexpected twist. Rosalle and Juliette get there first. Rosalie rescues Monroe and while she isn't looking Julietter turns Hexienbiest and rips them apart. Then Nick and Hank and Wu show up.

The grandmaster's wogt face looked a lot like Monroe's father's. The real-world reason is probably budget, but I wonder if the characters will turn out to be closely related.

As long as they are stopped, that would be a good resolution, too. And of course, girl power is always welcome. Didn't think of them working together, but now that you bring the subject up I'm reminded that Juliette gave the list of possible members of the wesenrein to Rosalee. She could see a direct connection to one of the guests at the wedding and they're on the case! There are so many people pursuing this bunch that they'll be on them like ducks on a Junebug, as my Grandma used to say.

Mauzhertz or Reinegen? A rodent of some sort.
I do agree that at leas one of the Wiesenrein (IIRC 'rein' means 'pure' in German) will turn out to be someone Monroe & Rosalee considered a friend. We have seen other mixed weisen marriages before, and the WR hasn't come after them; I suspect that Monroe's being friend's with a Grimm was 'the straw that broke the camel's back'. What if Rosalee & Juliette get together a posse of weisen whom Nick has helped combined with some of her most loyal spice-shop clients/patients. That posse, Nick/Hank/Wu, and the Captain/Wiesen Council representative converge on the Wiesenrein coven's meeting at about the same time.

I think that would be a fabulous, in-your-face, how-does-it-feel-to-have-a-rage-filled-lynch-mob-about-to-take-your-heads-off karma moment for those Wesenrein. Whew! What a great episode; it felt as though it was only a 25-minute show. Went by crazy fast, darnit!

Maybe. but did any of those mixed Wesson Marriages have somewhat public ceremonies where one of the guests was a blabber mouth. Rosalie's friends and customers converge with rolling pins, brooms, mops, crow bars and hammers. |
