for a reason. I wanted to give the theologically oriented an exclusionary thread to discuss the implication of the wesen world and various religions without being disparaged. I would ask that you respect this.
Thank you.
Of course I saw this, it was like waving a red flag. If you want a safe space all to your religious selves head on over to christianforums.com. Most of the areas there are blocked to mean old atheists like me.
In the meantime, since this forum does not have any private threads, I'll continue to go where I want. But I'll be gentle.

NG, have you ever had a discussion with a fairly well read atheist? You can't state bible verses as factual evidence to someone who does not believe that your god exists or the bible is his word. You might as well quote Lord of the Rings, at least that's pretty well written and interesting.
Who 'understands eternity?' That's a pretty nebulous statement. I do not have a soul. Before I was born I didn't exist, when I die I will once again not exist. Simple.
Consider this, if you had been born in ancient Egypt you would be saying the same things about Ra, or Odin if you had been born in ancient Scandinavia. If you had been born on the same date but in the Middle East you would likely be saying the same things about allah.
Why does it seem ones belief in who is the one true god is almost always an accident of where and when you are born? Coupled of course with who your parents pressure you to believe is real before you are old enough to think logically for yourself.
Just food for thought.
