I think there were some objections raised about the range of whatever type of airplane Kelly and Adalind were riding. I know Beechcraft makes a twin turboprop (KingAir 350ER) that can make nonstop Transatlantic flight, civilian version of the C130 can do the same, to name a few, and they mentioned fuel tanks, which I assume were external fuel tanks that could be jettisoned as the flight progressed. Fly out over the ocean beyond radar, gain altitude for fuel conservation, when you get closer to North America, drop to the deck, sneak into the country, and then climb up to your maximum VFR altitutde so you don't have to talk to anybody. Farfetched by feasible.
What I'm wondering is how Captain Renard knew Nick was a Grimm. Adalind was Nick's first Wogue, but the good Captain seemed to be aware of Nick's Grimm status (or at least his potential Grimm status) before Nick himself did. So that implies that maybe there's an alternative manner of detecting Grimms? Or do the Royals try to keep track of all Grimms, actual and potential?
