Saying Nick is just as corrupt is a false equivalency and I would have had to see Nick do a lot more nefarious things to say he's more corrupt than Renard who has always been and still remains extremely slimy. Nick doing whatever he did didn't tip the corrupt scale over to his side because Renard already had and added a mountain of weight on his side.
You're not considering the true nature of corruption here. How many people on the PPD did Renard actually corrupt? 2? 3?
Consider the number of people Nick has corrupted: From the police force itself: Hank and Wu. In his personal life: Juliette, Monroe, Rosalee, Bud, son Kelly, Diana and Monroe's triplets.
Corruption isn't just about doing nefarious things. It's also about convincing people that nefarious things are ok to do.

Renard doing nefarious things far outweighs Nick since he was fully intending on joining a highly corrupt organization hell-bent on world domination. There would undoubtedly be untold amounts of corruption that influenced millions of people in order to make that a reality. Anyone who didn't join them was against them so that makes them and Renard far worse. It really isn't a competition. The only reason Renard didn't get to make that a reality is the person who you say is more corrupt than him stopped him.
On a completely unrelated note, that was one hell of an end to the Alabama/Georgia game.
