There is a difference from liking aspects of the show and liking the show. In style and presentation that show has not changed. No mater what there are things you can be sure of. Nick's situation always ends in lost and tragedy. Adalind and Juliette will always be victims. Sean will always win. How they get there, that is the show. People point out inconsistencies. The idea is to get the point of their journey. To get to the payoff. There are shows that are very mythological in dotting the "i" and crossing the "t" when it comes to the writing. What those shows don't have is a lot of crazy action. Grimm is one of the shows where you clip scenes out of it.
My opinion why I like Grimm over other action shows like Arrow, or Flash, even sleep hollow. In Grimm the lead is not all powerful and needs others. In the other shows it is the main character that saves himself. So you ask what the point. After the first few times it is no surprise. On Grimm even now can you answer how save Nick this time. People want him to become the big bad uber Grimm. They are disappointed when he is not. But that is not his purpose. He is the reason for the other characters.
