* Hank telling Nick to just leave them to it because they’ll be fine without him is just lovely. I’m sorry it’s during a phase where Hank’s not really fine without help, but it’s still a nice sentiment.
* “If you need me...” - “I won’t.”
* It’s scary that there really are relationships that are as messed up as the one Robin’s trying to escape.
* And that’s exactly why it’s a shame that Hank’s just telling Nick he’ll be fine without him when he’s not. Adalind’s really playing a terrible game. (And yes I’m aware it’s under Sean’s instructions. But Adalind has a brain of her own to use and could tell the man no.)
*Drew plans to curl up with his cat Samson and watch The Apprentice Marathon. (Big plans indeed, there. Particularly with the dinner you plan to have alongside it... but at least you got into that because you took a cookie that wasn’t meant for you.)
* Nick immediately shows concern when he hears something get knocked over and the husband woges and sounds angry. Why does he just dismiss Juliette’s “that place is creepy” feeling? I’m not saying he should jump into action. But there’s no need to just go “well good thing we’re not staying there” about it either.
* I get that they needed to establish the whole problematic for longer, but I wished we had the Hank-Adalind thing over and done with yesterday. It’s painful to watch Hank suffer through this.
* Is failure to render assistance not considered a crime in the States? I mean yes, he does finally call the cops. But only after asking Juliette if she’s sure what she saw. All the while Robin’s getting force fed again in a fashion that’s not only cruel but potentially lethal for her.
* I know Hank’s bewitched, but it still bothers me to see him draw his gun at someone and abuse his rank.
* Look, Nick. She told you that she worries about the things that have been happening (and with good reason, she’s been attacked in her home and abducted from it already). That would be an *excellent* time to finally tell her what’s going on. Before you even dream about trying to propose to her. Be honest. It’s a tough truth to tell her. But it’s one she deserves to know.
* “All that stuff is gonna calm down.” Are you kidding me, Nick?! Are you completely delusional to make a promise like that?
* So you, just like Juliette, are still concerned about what’s happening. But instead of sharing that with her as a partner in a relationship would, you’re telling her you did everything you could. Wait till Juliette is asleep. And then call Monroe in the middle of the night to discuss the problem?!
* Is Nick casually impressed by Monroe telling him that he “got” the guy who slashed his ex girlfriend’s face? (Doesn’t he get mad at Angelina for killing a guy who tried to rape her?)
*”He’s not my husband. Not yet anyway.” (So Juliette does seem to plan that for the future then.)
* So good to finally just see a healthy (not yet) couple in this mess of an episode.(Seriously, we’ve got obsession caused by witchcraft, domestic violence and dishonesty... friendly supportive behavior in a relationship that’s honest from the getgo and remains that way is such a breath of fresh air.)
* “My groin is fine, thank you.” Is exactly what you want to answer on the phone, two minutes after discussing a substance to increase romantic stamina.
* “Are you with someone?!” - “Yeah, I’m with Rosalee.” (Because if Monroe has what he thinks will be a vacation from Nick, he spends it helping Rosalee sort through stuff at the shop...)
* Rosalee’s really taking the shop seriously by this point. Else I’m surprise she read into this subject enough to learn that they’re called “Unbezahlbar”.
* I can’t believe that they’re flirting over looking at someone developing an egg-like structure that could crush the person’s windpipe. But the thought of eggs seems to please them already.
*If the difficulty is cutting the Unbezahlbar out intact, why doesn’t Nick just ask Robin if she even wants it? He could’ve just risked damaging it, rather than injuring Robin?
* And while we’re talking about unhealthy relationships. Congratulations, Sean. - Too bad Adalind couldn’t just bake cookies for Sean and leave Hank alone.
* If Nick wanted to drop the whole matter with Robin for the moment (despite of Monroe telling him just how dangerous the situation is for Robin), why does he look at the house again to remind Juliette?
* And now we get to the point where I don’t understand what Robin is doing. She wants to get away. She’s been offered help by Juliette with the information that Nick’s a cop. There’s no reason to assume that they’re friends with the local cops. So why doesn’t she turn to Nick and Juliette for help when she sees a chance to get out of there?
* Why doesn’t this guy at least try to get away when he sees those golden eyes?
* “Yeah, you’re a Klaustreich. Now turn it off.”
* WHY doesn’t Nick use his gun to shoot the man’s foot or leg? He needs to stop that bloody machine, not fight Timothy for five minutes.
* “Oh my God, you poor thing. What did he do to you?” - “He told me he loved me...” (This episode...)
*”He’s a cop.” - “He’s a Grimm.” Newsflash guys, he’s both.
* Why doesn’t Juliette go along with Nick to find Robin? They could make the call to state police on the way. (And yes I get she wasn’t supposed to see the cutting out of the Unbezahlbar, but we’re talking character level.)
* Oh Rosalee. Second episode you’re in and he’s already recruited you...
* Can I just congratulate Monroe on not bothering with the term Unbezahlbar in the middle of trying to advice Nick on how to get it out?
* They just switched from being really helpful to being really unhelpful in a matter of seconds...
* Thanks for moving from “oh that’s pretty” to “how is she?” in a second there, Rosalee. Who cares about that stupid stone?
* “I think this is yours.” - “I don’t want it. I never did.”
*”Are you insane?” - “Well, I’m in the woods. I just cut a golden egg out of a girl’s neck. You tell me.”
* And that’s another great moment for Nick to realize that if he just told her everything in this very episode, she’d make a pretty good partner if she was told the truth. Clearly she’s perfectly willing and capable to face danger to protect someone’s life.
* Why is Nick so sulky about her turning him down?! She’s telling him that she really loves him and that she does want to marry him on day. She’s also saying that his job’s okay with her. And that her reason to turn him down is that she feels that he’s not honest with her. - Which is 100% true. He hasn’t been. And he *knows* it. So really? Be honest. And try again later. You had a perfect chance to just tell her the truth when she asked you. And you blew it.
* “If you need me...” - “I won’t.”
