I mean, they turned her into a vet, from time to time they give her something useful, why not more often? Juliette can figure things out, she can analyse things the others can't, she can turn Rosalee's recipes into something else as what we saw during 3.01. She obviously has something to do also with DNA, as she seemed pretty common with the topic during 1.21. Why not using her character this way? Why alsways negating that Juliette is there too?
I mean, besides Adalind (who was brainwashed too after she gave birth) there was not one good written female character anymore in season3. Rosalee is pretty intelligent too and suddenly she develops a multiple personality disorder or something. That's the same. I always was looking forward to the friednship between Juliette and Rosalee, what did we see from this?
Several good points about development of female characters here. On the three internet shorts, the one with Juliette and Rosalee was the only one (in my very humble opinion) that fell short.
And I do like Juliette. But it's like the scene of her attacking the abusive boyfriend after he wogued. I enjoyed it, but I just really couldn't buy into her character having the chutzpah to do that. It was like Ben Kingsley in "Sexy Beast." Throughout the entire movie, I feel like shouting at the screen "It's just Ghandi. Smack him around a couple of times and be done with it." I just couldn't see Ben Kingsley as the gangster. And I just couldn't see Juliette putting the smackdown on an enraged Klaustreich. So it was a great scene, but I sure would like to see more character development. Like Sgt. Drew Wu. There's a character the writers have invested in, as far as character development is concerned!
