Agree with syscrash that Juliette made personal sacrifices that not only did not help her, but indeed brought her great harm.
J started out as a very upstanding and non-wesen person, who was compassionate and thoughtful of others.
Adalind was born a Hexenbiest with all the selfish accoutrements that go along with the breed.
In the spirit of no good act goes unpunished, J became a Hexenbiest in trying to help her man.
Other than the facts that she was instrumental in Kelly's death, tried to kill Nick, Monroe, pregnant Adalind, and I can't remember who-all, she wasn't all that bad. Okay, she was the devil incarnate. Forget that I even wrote that.
J became a robo-warrior at the hands of Meisner and the Hw. From exactly that moment on, she did many, many things that helped the organizaton she worked with. She did well enough (and saved many lives, among which were the Scoobies), imo, to offset the record in part for the horrible things she did while a Hexenbiest.
Although I love Adalind, she has become less of an evil-doer because of the kiddies and that's a good thing. But she hasn't been as heroic as Juliette, not by a long shot. Adalind hasn't had the life experiences to place her in a role calling for heroics, that's true.
But, imo, Juliette is the bigger and better person and we haven't seen the end of it.
