I've been doing some thinking about Rolek, Josh's father. Rolek, for the most part, ignored his Grimm tendencies to raise Josh. Josh, though not a Grimm, seemed like a well adjusted, mature man because his dad chose to raise him. It's a drastic comparison to Nick's upbringing.
There has been some discussion about Rolek. In another thread, I think it was mentioned that he tended a lighthouse. The way I interpreted the statement, Rolek is the unusual, rather than the norm for a Grimm.
But what if he's not? It's also been noted that Grimms are rare. What if they're really not rare, they just have made the conscious choice not to be Grimms? Instead they chose to live among the general population. Could a Grimm train himself/herself to ignore a woge? Could they avoid attack by simply wearing contact lenses so wesen can't see their eyes?
We know wesen have chosen to live among the general population. Could they make the conscious decision not to woge if upset? Could they choose to ignore a Grimm who doesn't react to them?

The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
