I still remember one of your first Threads Sympathy For The Devil -- Adalind from the beginning. Looks like you were on the right track. Do you see the relationship thing is more flush of the baby both trying to hard to make the work? The next episode with Trubel do you see that changing anything. As of now I'm still thinking about that, after all Trubel hasn't seen the baby and I think Nick will want to bring Trubel home to recover. I've also been thinking the lock door likely has and outlet Nick could make a room for Trubel. Just ideas I'm thinking about.
They had crazy chemistry thanks on great writing and two very excellent actors giving their own slant to that writing.
I said from the pilot that there seemed like an end game between the two and for us uber-nerds I always thought there was a reverse gender Buffy-Spike vibe going on between the two.
That being said , as a Nadalind fan, this does feel like a bit much. They are really pushing for them to be together. While the shipper in me is enjoying this immensely, the serious nerd who enjoys believable plot is kinda cocking his eyebrow and tilting his head at the speed of this love. I loathe will they/won't they plots with all my being but I think in this situation a slow build would have been better.
Because these writers love Meta I can see them using Trubel as the vocal point of the fans who are opposed to this going "What the Hell Nick , isn't this the woman who practically raped you and took Juliette down the path to her being dead ?" and otherwise a WTF reaction until she actually spends some tense time with them and realizes that Nick has changed for the better due to the baby AND Adalind.
I think the relationship was borne out of mental necessity and while the child plays a part of it I think at large Nick needs someone who is almost blood bound to the same life and is alone like him. I still think the writers are lacking a bit of subtlety but their vision is in the correct place .
I've said it before and I will say it again, Nick and Adalind I think, are destiny , two sides of the same coin, needing each other to be whole. They touched on it in the last episode , He was her first Grimm, She was his first Wessen.

I think actually the scene was too awkward was the shower/bra scene. The others - the crying baby or even Nick coming home to them - felt a little more natural. But I guess that's because I can see how Adelind would develop or already have a little feeling for Nick, but I don't actually see it on his side. He's being nice, but I at least see him pretty detached. He's not fighting with her, he's not bickering with her, but to me when she says something or gets close to him (or even if he sees her bra), he's just got a wall up behind his eyes.
It kind of gels with me that he's just shut off ALL emotions, good or bad. So everyone who is saying "it's too fast!" - what's too fast? He's not going to do anything. I really doubt he even feels much of anything right now.
The writers' heart is in the right place and I totally agree, I think he's actually confused.
I think you could go as far as to say he is actually embracing his birthright as a Grimm and becoming a new person before it and the situation he is in is that he may be actually be falling love for this first time being comfortable in his new skin.
