Do you think humans should fear wesen?
In my opinion, no.
I agree with you: Humans should not fear wesen. But using the double system theory I posted prior, human has no control over the first reaction (a system 1 response) since this is automatic.
Hank and Wu are good examples. First they fear. When they learned about wesen they stopped fear them. Hank as an example is Monroe’s friends. Hank now doesn’t panic any more when he sees a wesen in the field.

I'm still on the fence with regard to this one.
I think that if Hank and Wu believe human should fear wesen they would never be Monroe friend. If Nick believes human should fear wesen, he would not let Hank and We be Monroe friend, he would not accept Bud in his house with Juliette and would feel uncomfortable with Juliette’s friend that is a wesen.
So I think they don’t have this kind of issue.
I will use the two system theory again. I think the problem in a more generic analysis is that when someone sees a wesen first time his first reaction is fear. After learning the fear goes away. The time between the transitions between system 1 to system 2 can be enough for a tragedy. This way, telling humanity as hole (or a single person) about wesen is not a simple task. It is possible, but it must be well planned.
Yes, we are a scientifically advent society searching for life in the stars. But we are also a full of hate society dealing with people that, for example, still kill in name of religion, difference of race, and a fell other things like that.
