The way she uses dolls to force her parents together shows she has the mind of a 8 year old child. The more people she knows the more issues she can cause. David G. has stated that the out of control hexenbiest for season 6 will be Diana not Eve or Adalind.
Adalind has a law degree and I expect that Renard has a college degree so their expectation would likely be that Diana go to college and she will need more schooling for that.
I don't know what kids you know. But the concept of what it would take for your parents to want to have sex. Is beyond the kids I know. What kids even know there parents even have sex. Even once kids knows where babies come from. What kid tries to have their parents have sex.
As for Rachael. To realize the extent of Sean and Rachael's relationship would take a fare amount of insight. Diana's comment of Rachael liking daddy would mean she understands they are more then friends. That is something even an eight year old would not realize unless they saw physical signs of affection. An eight year old does not understand body language. A lot of adults do not understand body language.
As for Diana's future. Remember she is special and she can get what she wants with magic. You say Adalind has a law degree. Yet it was not her degree that her employer was interested in. If her degree was that important she could have said. I no longer work as a hexenbiest. As for Sean having a degree. Why would that be the case. He has never spoke of any formal training. He has always used his abilities instead of his knowledge. He uses power and intimidation. Not tact and finesse. Even as a poiice captain he has never been shown to have a good grasp of the law. He is a great politician but that does not take a degree. It only takes the ability to manipulate what people think and how they perceive him. As a zauberbiest he would be good at that.
In order to be a police captain in a major city, one must have at least a bachelor's degree. One can join the force with only a HS diploma, although it is consdidered better to have at least an associate's, and if you want to advance beyond that one must have at least a bachelor's--either already when you joined, or acquired through night school/online. A man in Renard's position would have a master's in criminal justice, public administration, or something similar. Nick probably at least has an undergraduate degree; given his drawing ability, he probably minored in art, although what his major was I don't know. If he had been attracted to law enforcement from the beginning, he might have taken crimal justice. I'm surprised Aunt Marie didn't make him take Latin or German for his foreign language requirements.
