Yeah, but I'm really ready for the two of them to be allowed to have storylines that are about something other than each other. Their world needs to be bigger. I'd much rather see Monroe stepping up to take on a more active role while Nick's grimmless and in need of eyes and muscle, tapping into his long-buried reserve of big and bad, then ending up in a situation that gets exceptionally ugly and revives (or threatens to revive) a taste for carnage. Heck, I would rather see him wolf out over Nick ending up threatened or hurt when he gets in over his head -- let's see that friendship showcased again.
(On a side note, when it comes to Monroe and Rosalee's relationship, I'd like to see the show remember and remind us that theirs is a romance between two predators. In the earlier days of their relationship, they were sweet, but they were not *just* sweet -- it was clear that this wasn't a human courtship. I adored the scene in season 2 when Monroe's voiced desire to rip Katherine's throat out for discourtesy left Rosalee flattered and got that nonchalant "Maybe later" response.)
