And I think that they aren't lying but they're not being entirely truthful either. Yes, Juliette is dead. The Juliette that we all knew and loved is dead. I think they're setting her up to be the uber villain. Juliette is going to lose it when she finds out that Nick has moved on with Adaline and they're one big happy family. The family she was supposed to have with Nick. And he moved on so quickly, like she never even mattered to him.
He didn't "move on." Juliette drove Nick into Adalind's arms by 1) burning the trailer, 2) forcing him to almost shoot Monroe dead, and 3) betraying Kelly to the Royals. The last one in particular was low, even for a Hexenbiest. If she really is going to go from "evil bitch" to "super-evil-bitch" in season 5, I'd love to see her reaction when she finds out the baby has been named after the woman she helped to murder. I'm also all for Nick finding out about Juliette's dalliance with Renard. It's about time he showed his boss what it REALLY means to get on a Grimm's bad side.
IMHO, I think it would be cool if they made Juliette seem as if she really was past any hope of redemption, and then suddenly introduce some nigh-invincible UberGrimm (witch-hunter Matthew Hopkins, maybe?) who proceeds to kick everybody's ass, to the point where Nick and Juliette realize only their combined powers have any chance of taking him down. That would make for a roller-coaster of a story arc.
I agree, he didn't just "move on" and I also agree that she did do all of those things. But, that's not how she's going to see it. When she was a Hexenbeist, is was all about me, me, me. "I Like these powers. I like who I am now." She had one moment of remorse and that was when she discover that Kenneth and his crew killed Kelly, But, that was quickly replaced with her about to deliver a death blow to Nick if it wasn't for Trubels intervention. So, now in her twisted little head (if she is still alive) she's believes that the entre Scooby gang is against her.
I mean, right now. The show doesn't have a clear lead villain. The royals are gone, they have a Wesen uprising building up with no clear leadership identified. All we have right now is "monster of the week". So, I wouldn't be too shocked if Juliette comes back and went complete "darkside" on everyone.
