I agree about we do not have time for a love triangle. It is very possible that Nick dies, transformed or is forced to leave for ever during the last show 13 called The End. That show ending is supposed to be sad but show us hope. Nick's son and Diana is part of that hope so Nick having them at fome part of the time during season 6 fits the story. This season we will not see Kelly much says David G but we will see his crib instead so we know where he is being kept. The kids will still be driving plot lines. The show may have a time jump where we see Rosalee kid's too in the last show.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
