Assuming that's really Meisner and not a hallucination, Meisner was an action guy. He's not going to be satisfied with Sean apologizing and admitting that he chose the wrong side. He wants Sean to do something. To choose the right side.
Meisner has been a consistently cold blooded hard ass except for two instances: Adalind and Diana when he got them out of Austria, and Diana in the helicopter. My guess is he wants Sean to do something for them that he knows Sean won't want to do otherwise, and I don't think that merely protecting Diana from danger will fall under that description. So maybe what Meisner wants is for Sean to forego any plans he might come up with for using Diana's powers to his personal advantage and to get out of Adalind's life once and for all.
