I do not think Nick told Juliette everything. Even in pairs is not usually said, and couples who believed to know everything about their boyfriends discover that they are killers, etc

Tongue I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts on whether Adalind is seeing the symbols on the walls, and if so, why is she able to see them?Diana has to go into hexenbiest mode to see the symbols. Adalind noticed Diana eyes glowing. Why would Adalind not woge and see if she could see them. Eve can not woge so I would not expect her to try.

I can just wait for the episode to air and see for myself.

Quote:Zauberbiests and Hexenbiests cannot open each other spell books and do not see themselves as the same thing. In their marriages they keep secrets from each other. Adalind treats Nick like a Zauberbiest partner and she accepts that they cannot share information about certain things that Juliette or any other women from a developed country would never accept. As Adalind says “Trust is not a natural thing for us”.There has never been on the show any inclination that zauberbiest can or know anything about spells. There is no reason to think Conrad spelled the ring himself. Especially since it was already spelled when he showed it to Adalind. So exactly where did you get the idea that there is a Zauberbiest book. Adalind shares information. She is the one that knew how to cure Sean. She had no problem that her book was at the spice shop. None of your assumptions are any where in the show.

Sean was able to interpret Adalind potion book enough to realize that Nick should drink stuff at the bottom of caudon so he would not lose his powers. Sean asked Eve to open a hexenbiest book because he thought he could benefit from reading the book. When you keep something in a blood sealed book it suggests that you are trying to keep some knowledge secret.

The show showed Sean could read the book. But not once did he use the book. Even with the book Sean needed his mother to figure how to make the potion to give Nick his grimm back work. Juliette as a novice got more out of the book then Sean did.

They come to the conclusion that Renard must have known what Adalind did since he had a potion for Nick to drink. Monroe suggests they find out where Adalind made the potion so they can reverse engineer it, but Rosalee suggests that Renard could have made it himself since he is a Zauberbiest.

Rosalee and Monroe told Nick that when a wesen and a kehrseite mate, their children will either be wesen or kehrseite. Sean seems to be the only half-wesen of any kind that we've ever seen. So I'm thinking that as Zauberbiests go, Sean may be somewhat...defective.

Hexenbiests often keep their art a secret just not Adalind. 27 min 53 sec into /My_Fair_Wesen 39 min 52 sec into /My_Fair_Wesen Catherine Schade's Zaubertränke recipe book was found by Adalind in her mother storage locker after her mother's death in a chest with potion bottles. Adalind says "This better be it." since she has never seen her mother's potion book before. She is surprised that she can not open the book so she accidently throws the book breaking glass. She pick a piece of glass up to try to force the book open and cuts herself by accident. Her blood spills on the the book opening it to a surprised Adalind. Catherine Schade's Zaubertränke recipe book was kept secret by her mother and even the method of opening it too. Her mother made a living selling potions so it no surprise she wanted the recipes to be secret. Adalind was always much more open hexenbiest than her mother and many other hexenbiests. Adalind was a nerd in school and became a lawyer in the first to prove she was not like her mother. When you keep something in a blood sealed book it suggests that you are trying to keep some knowledge a secret. Wesen society is trying to kept itself a secret from most of society.
