She couldn't disappear and end up safely out of his reach.Juliette didn’t reason with Nick over his gut instinct to pull his gun. She only reasoned why he had that reaction and instantly calmed his fear. I agree none of it would have happened had Juliette not become a Hexenbiest, but Juliette wouldn’t have become a Hexenbiest had she not helped Nick get his Grimm back, and Nick wouldn’t have lost his Grimm had they not helped Kelly kidnap Adalind’s baby. It’s not one specific incident that lead to their downfall. It’s a culmination of bad, and downright stupid, decisions then blaming everyone but themselves for the mess they were in.
I know what you are saying here, but it still all comes down to one thing. None of this would have happened had Juliette not been a hexenbiest. She knows that. So I believe her when she said she was scared and afraid Nick would kill her.
I get that you take Juliette at her word that she was afraid Nick would kill her. But it’s just as likely that Juliette spoke of fear to provide reason for not telling Nick right away - just as Nick stupidly chose to keep Juliette in the dark about being a Grimm. If Nick pulling his gun confirmed her fear, it makes more sense Juliette would leave instead of waiting for him to return home. Juliette didn’t leave until Nick slept on the sofa then refused to kiss her while woged.
I’m don’t interpret her actions as indicating fear of her longtime boyfriend, but anger and resentment over not getting the reaction she expected and felt she deserved from Nick - which I wholeheartedly agree Juliette deserved better from Nick. But maybe if she'd exercised better judgement when Kelly dropped her kidnapping bombshell, she wouldn't have had so much trauma to content with later. Juliette's fine with the idea of Kelly getting a second chance to be a mother with a stolen baby right up until she becomes a Hexenbiest because of it.
