I've tried getting it to stop. It didn't last. So I'm open for suggestions, Tara. What's the solution?

Try bringing up a topic from a different angle. You really wouldn't like it. This was supposed to be a forum for all types of topics, speculated, made up, or based on the show. Yet how many times has someone brought up something from a completely different perspective, and faced the wrath of *gang up* for it? All of the sudden there are three or four instant appearances here by those that just can't wait to pounce on the author with ridicule, insults, and bullying. I'm not talking about me here. I've seen people come on the forum attempting to make a statement and because it doesn't conform with the hecklers, they were pushed off.
Still don't believe me? I can't tell you how many times someone has come out of the woodwork to question why I'm on the forum since I don't like Nick. I haven't dealt with that kind of kindergarten attitude since I was a child. Yet there they are, thinking they are not only entitled to an answer, but have the right to push me off the forum for having a different opinion.
I don't know why there's shock and upset about the climate now. It's been that way for years. There is no respect here.
As for me, I am not trying to change anyone's mind. The subject matter of this thread speaks for itself of the impossibility and the ridiculousness of making the attempt. But when a contributor is so bent on making up stuff that is not claimed as "Fan Fiction", what chance is there to try to convince the un-convinceable.
The only thing left to do, with such a BS artist, is to point out the diis-respectfulness the BS spewing out of their typing fingers they contribute insult to these threads. You want to stop what some call bulling, then stop the BS. One persons BS is another persons "ACTUAL BULLING".
Did it ever occur that making crap up to make an argument is also being disrespectful? Pointing this out is called reality not disrespect.

How can anyone be respectful when making an argument or sharing an opinion on "MADE UP" stuff? Not my words, but by the quote-er. Thats not bringing up a topic from a different angle. Thats bringing up a topic from a non existing angle to justify an opinion. Obviosly someone is confused on what is "based on the show" and "Fan Fiction"
AGAIN, look at the topic of this thread. Is this looking at it at a different angle or a made up angle? You decide. According to the originator, there is no differences, well, to some of us, there is!
Respect is earned, not given. Start to earn it by stop using fiction to justify your position. Use what happened to back up your opinion, not made up stuff.
Some contributors remind me of my younger days and my street drag racing days. I had a running argument with a co-worker on who's car was faster. My 68 Malibu converted to a 68 Chevelle SS with a LT1 V8 350CID to his Ford Cougar with his Ford 351 Cleveland V8.
We finally came to a head and brought both cars to work, for a lunch time drag race with $250 pize bet on the race. Back in the 80's, $250 was a lot of cash.
Before the race, we pop the hoods. He checks out my car, I check out his. He claimed, based on what we both had under the hood, for the race to be fair, I had to spot him 1 car length. I turned around and asked him for his $250 right then and there. He says why, we hadn't raced yet.
I replied, Well, by you demanding I have to spot you a one car length, is your admission my car is faster. End of discussion and end of respecting just one more BS artist, such as "SOME" contributor to these forums.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
