I felt Bitsie was a good enough actress to convince me that she was indeed frightened that Nick would kill her. I didn't find her reasoning lame or stupid.

Why would she? Nick didn't go in there seeking relationship advice. He went in there, intending to prove Henrietta wrong. She instead turned the tables on him.

She didn’t tell Nick to give Juliette time and space to work things out for herself, she offered Nick two options - kill Juliette or keep a safe distance while she discovers what she’s capable of - then warned Nick how powerful Juliette would become.
And again, why would she? Nick didn't ask for advice. He went in there acting like an arrogant a**hole. Henrietta treated him as such. As for Juliette, she didn't go there seeking relationship advice either. I can't see Henrietta offering relationship advice when Juliette was not seeking it.
I'm the one who said I believed that Juliette would come to terms with her hexenbiest and would eventually be someone Nick could deal with. Part of this is based on Kenneth's observation that Juliette was still loyal to Nick. I believe Kenneth was right and she may have proven her loyalty if Nick had left her alone and not been such an idiot to believe Adalind when she decided to butt into his life.

That's not what Adalind did. She was being self-serving which is why Nick was inclined to take her up on her offer. Adalind traded the suppressant for protection which is why Nick figured it was more likely to work because her own life depended on it.
Adalind excels at deception and nearly killed Hank, Juliette, and Nick himself if Elizabeth is to be believed. I can see Nick falling for it once, but three times? No self-respecting cop would give Adalind the time of day, regardless of the spirit in which her offer was made.
