I'm certain Nick would've agreed with you had Adalind claimed she was making the suppressant out of the goodness of her heart or out of regret for what Juliette had become. That's not what Adalind did. She was being self-serving which is why Nick was inclined to take her up on her offer. Adalind traded the suppressant for protection which is why Nick figured it was more likely to work because her own life depended on it.
Nick could've taken what Henrietta said as gospel and abandoned Juliette altogether but Nick has experienced too much over the last few years to leave at that with them. He wouldn't have Monroe and Rosalee as friends if they took what they heard about Grimms to heart. His mother was as close to a quintessential Grimm as he and his friends had heard of and she was talked out of attacking Monroe and Rosalee and vice versa. Nick's close circle has shown him time and time again that a general description of wesen isn't the ultimate factor in how each one individually should be treated.
