It's not unreasonable to label it as an AU scenario. This topic would probably make an interesting thread in itself because posters could come and give their ideas based on the idea being true. I know I can't discuss the idea any further in this thread because it gives this scenario more validity the more it's discussed as speculation. That implies that Adalind may have done this and I and may other posters already know that there isn't anything to even suggest this may have happened.
Hell Rell, your do's and don'ts of speculation are wasted here. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference with regard to how a thread is phrased, labeled, or communicated. People will post if they want to and ignore the thread if they don't. That wasn't happening on this thread, so I'm not sure why you felt compelled to talk about terminology.
I originally thought you might be attempting to be helpful, but I don't get that vibe from your statements. Otherwise you wouldn't have demanded that, "the speculation should end immediately".
Using your logic, this thread should have never have occurred. The series is over and there was never any proof from the series that Adalind was redeemed, viewed herself as redeemed or that the scoobies viewed her as such. And just because you say it's authentic, adding a piece of the show to support speculation doesn't make it so. You can't have forgotten the infamous "What Juliette knew thread", can you? That debate still goes on, no matter how many different threads it's been posted in.
You think there's no merit to my posts, that's fine. You're entitled to your opinion. However, you're not entitled to tell me or anyone else when to end a discussion. That was out of line and not worthy of you.
It’s not opinion there is no mreit to your post it’s fact your theory is made up nonsense. As for Adalind be redeemed in the scobbies eyes, Bree Turner certainly thinks Adalind is sort of redeemed in Rosalees eyes.
TURNER | Rosalee always has known that it was just a suppressant that they gave Adalind. It wasn’t like they took her powers away forever. So it always has been a little bit of a ticking time bomb. But at this point, Rosalee really cares about Adalind. She’s more than proven herself that she’s a changed woman, and Rosalee is also a reformed person so she has more tolerance and compassion when it comes to people being able to have second chances.
