Quote:IMO, once HW was destroyed, she lost her direction. She still had purpose, as she attested to Nick in the stone hedge scene, but to me, she looked as if she was always waiting for someone to assign her a mission. She didn’t seem to have too much independent thoughts until the death grip and the “Z” guy shows up.
Before she goes after him through the mirror, do you recall the bathroom scene, when Evette has just taken a shower, is wrapped in a towel and the “Z” guy shows up in the bathroom mirror? She screams out for Nick like a little girl. Or is it just me seeing her that vulnerable, since I am so biased against her?
After being revived with the stick. Eve was back to being in a state of confusion. She was again trying to figure out who and what she was. Even after the death grip, her powers where back but she still no longer the emotionless person she had become. Where the other where sitting back to see what would happen plus fending off attacks. Eve was the only one determined to take the fight to zestore. The difference with Eve now, her missions with HW where a job. This was personal. This was her seeing the need to do good . Her looking out for others.
