The fact, however, remains that there was nothing on the show indicating Adalind did this so the speculation should end immediately. There is no doubt this would've been revealed on the show at any point if it were true. There wasn't even anything behind the scenes that hinted at this so any suggestion that Adalind did this is pure fan-fiction.
Really? So speculation is not allowed because the show reveals everything if it were true. Is that what you're stating, Hell Rell?
Speculation usually has something on the show that backs it up so we can speculate further. One that comes to mind is Diana's paternity. She's officially Sean's kid but it was up in the air whether he or Eric was the father. So, talking about what storylines were possible if Eric had been the father is fair game. Another thing up for speculation is what exactly did Monroe hunt in the past or what caused Hank to have several divorces.
The speculation for this particular scenario has no merit. We know it's not true and there are zero hints pointing to it being anything less. That question, if anyone had it, has already been answered. Speculation is primarily for unanswered questions. This has more resemblance to an AU scenario and I think it would be taken more seriously if it were spoken of in that way.
For example, this scenario could be presented as, "This isn't the case, but what would've happened in season 7 if it were revealed Adalind was using her powers to enhance her appeal to Nick? How do you think Nick, Adalind, and the rest would respond?" If that were the case, I think that would spark more lively debate and anyone who was there to shut it down wouldn't be taken seriously since it's a "what if" scenario and only posters who want to discuss what they think would happen if it were true should participate. Presenting it as speculation only invites posters to shut it down since we already know the truth.
