I always thought it would be really cool to have a big name guest star appear on Grimm as a some sort of Wesen. The show is in its fourth season so it's becoming a pretty recognizable show especially in the category of supernatural type shows.
I know that this probably unlikely to happen assuming that they filled one of their bigger roles from last season, Trubel, with a college girl with no previous acting experience. To clarify, I don't want this to sound like I dislike Jacqueline Toboni, in fact I think that she was a spectacular addition to the cast and I applaud Grimm for taking a chance on her because I think it really paid off and I absolutely love her portrayal of Trubel. The point I'm trying to make is that from the beginning, Grimm was always about casting the right person for the role even if that person wasn't a big name and I think that approach is what has caused the show to last for as long as it has.
That being said I would love to have one episode where they got someone that a lot of people would recognize to guest star, I'm sure the writers could find a way to get a big name that also accurately portrays the character that they want to portray.
I think that if they did this it would be something exciting for fans of the show and it might even bring in some more viewers if NBC were to really advertise the episode.
I'm interested to see where you guys stand on this topic. I personally can understand both sides of the argument but I'm interested to see what others think about this.
