Supernatural did the "bogey man" theme episode more times than I can count, and none of them were especially good (yellow eyes probably counts as a bogey man). I don't think it's a particular good or original idea. But GrimminFlorida'1s pottery idea has potential. I don't know if that one would be good, but it would definitely be original.
Though, I can't quite figure out how to wessify that idea (then again there's a wessen market for human organs, why not for furniture or kitchen items made from humans). The Nazis would certainly approve.
Speaking of marriage, I'd like to see a (non-tragic) human-Wesen relationship. Just some characters that randomly appear one episode. It'd like to see if that could actually work. It could be a nice semi-comedic note.
I also think it'd be wicked cool if there were normal non-Grimm humans who are entirely aware of Wesen, Grimm, and all that. I don't think there is a group like that yet (but I could be forgetting something).

Don't you count Hank? You're describing him
When I remember it right, Monroe called humans like that "Schlich-kennen".
"alle Schliche kennen" - to know all the tricks/ the ropes

While that's a non-wessen/wessen relationship, PB also added that he would like them to be "Just some characters that randomly appear one episode", so I think he wants a pre-existing wessen/non-wessen relationship rather than one develop on the show (i.e., with Hank, we saw/will see the relationship come about).
Personally, I think any future wessen Hank relationship is a really terrible idea (and think that the Adalind/Hank relationship wasn't a particularly good one either), and I don't think PB's idea would work either, but unlike with Hank's relationships, there is the possibility. I think you'd need one of the following facts.
1. The non-wessen would need to be a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen (kinda of like Hank), but with a more in-depth knowledge of the wessen world. I'm not sure if Royals qualify as Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen, but the casual sex between Eric and Adalind is one example of such a non-wessen/wessen relationship.
2. If the non-wessen is not a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen, then the wessen would likely need to have some power over the non-wessen partner for the relationship to "work" (e.g., I could see a ziegevolk being married to a non-wessen).
While I think this is interesting territory for the writers to explore, each of the two above scenarios has very specific problems. For (1) above, other than Royals, it would be difficult to develop/explain the non-wessen on the show. Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen aren't particularly common after all, except where Royalty is concerned. So, the non-wessen would pretty much need to be a regular or extended cast member.
With (2) above, you start getting into uncomfortable awkward territory for viewing audiences. Also, like with (1) you have to explain many facts with very limited screentime.

Oh wow, yeah, that 2nd option would be terrifying awkward and uneven. *shudder*
The first one is definitely more what I'm talking about. Just a married couple that pops up to add some flavor to the world, there to (indirectly) show the viewers than not all Wesen think of human as lesser beings, or a means to an end, or what have you. Considering that Wesen like Monroe exist, an "mixed marriage" is possible. It could even just be something like a friendship instead.
I'd also like to see Bud showing up now and again. Bud is fun.
