With Season 2 at a close, the writers are busy working on the scripts for Season 3. I'd like to know what you all want to see in Season 3? Maybe one of the writers will see our thread here .

I'd like to see Monroe and Rosalee get married[after saving Nick and killing the bad guys first]. Maybe there can be an episode where Bud gets a mean streak? That be funny. A trip to Europe wouldn't hurt.

I'd like to see nick and company go on the offensive more, just about everything they have done so far has been a reaction... A trip to Europe would defiantly give them that opportunity...
I'd love to see a Monroe/Rosalee wedding, maybe late in the season, right before whatever really bad thing happens at the cliffhanger. Also, I'd like to see Juliette get down and dirty with the team, although I think a breakup is more likely with nick coming back and saying he can't fight while worrying about her safety... After all, he was beaten by the baron in part because he was trying to lead the zombies away from the other three... Would he have done that if Juliette had not been there (05-29-2013, 08:54 AM)grimmfreak Wrote: I'd like to see nick and company go on the offensive more, just about everything they have done so far has been a reaction... I think he still might have lead them away because there was no way they could take all the zombies on at the same time--they were easily outnumbered and out matched. I would love to see Juliette getting more involved with everything, I also think it will be nice for Rosalee not to be the only female on the team

People who are gung ho about making Grimm into a serial are heavy in this camp. I'm happy with the current setup and would prefer the writers keep Grimm away from a strict-serial mold. Also, since the writers can barely keep their world straight, going serial would just exacerbate that problem. I do agree that a season (or some number of episodes) in Europe would be nice. That's one reason I wanted Grimm moved from Fridays. Higher ratings would mean a higher budget for Grimm. Filming in Europe would be expensive (unless you do a bunch of sound stages in LA and call them Europe).

I would like to see Nicks mom more involved in the plot. Maybe they could move the show a little from criminal wesens case to royal sent wesens agains Nick, Renard and the others. Nicks mom could appear more in the show and maybe the writers could use her as the grimm fighter in Europe. So, while Nick and the others stay in USA defending themselves from the royals, Nick's mom would be in Europe searching the other two keys, for example.

I am looking forward to seeing a more proactive Juliette. We've had episodes where Hank, Rosalee, and Monroe took point. Hoping for a Juliette episode.
Maybe Nick and Juliette will get married for the season finale. A lot of shows like this add new main characters gradually so I am hoping for a new recurring role.

I would like to see, if the show goes back to roots and link their cases with fairy tales. But I think that would not happen.
A deeper look into the world of the royals would be also nice. Or in the hierarchy under wesen.

However, those scripts may have been made before the show's creators heard about OUAT on ABC. Episodes 3 and onward clearly drifted towards a much looser connection to the original stories. Episode 9 of season 1 (Of Mouse and Man) wasn't even loosely based on a fairy tale, and the opening quote was from Steinbeck. I think an episode strongly connected to one of the fairy tales would be good every once in a while, but at this point, this show is pretty much Buffy with wereanimals (werewolves, werefoxes, werecoyotes, etc.). Though, if the formula isn't broken, you probably shouldn't try fixing it.
Well, I agree with FW and HJ.
I think it would be very constrictive if the fairytales have to be from Grimm or even be that similar to the originals. But I like that some of the episodes use creatures that have some kind of mythological or fictional roots. They writers have used up bears, big bad wolves, wicked witches, trolls. Not sure the American Viewing Public's knowledge goes much past werewolves and vampires anymore, anyway. so the writers have been somewhat creative and un-literal minded. And its ok by me. |
