The Hexenbiest/Zauberbiest are arguably the most dangerous of the wesen, and I think it's because they are human in both forms. They are the only wesen I can think of that relies on magic to achieve their aims; another thing that makes them the most dangerous, imo. Finally, we see what a pairing between them produced; Diana. Imo, that awful ritual Adalind went through was the creation, and a fearful reminder, of her group's dark and mighty power, and was enhanced by the child being the offspring of parents of the same wesen group.
Strange, they are profiled as being exceptionally beautiful in their human form, and present such a terrifying spector of what awaits us at the end of life when they are wesen. All humans have big brains, add that to possessing the extra-human powers that Hex/Zaub wesen have, and I think I wouldn't want to enter their space alone unless I had a hand grenade.
Having said all that, logic alone won't explain why I think a Grimm is better equipped to overpower a Hexenbiest or Zauberbiest, but I do. And I believe that the match between the two groups would have a good chance at success in spite of logic, too.
