I don't think this show is going to have him stick along (and pay $$) all the way through. I think his presence will actually show Nick how it's possible to think of Adalind as "good." I mean, think about it - Meisner saw Adalind when she was a hexenbeist but struggling to protect Diana, on the run from the royals, was there when she gave birth, etc. All the things Nick hasn't really done, but I think he might see their interactions and feel a little protective of his "family" as weird as it is.
Bree Turner started out on the show as a guest star, too. Just sayin'.
I don't think there's ANY point in having the whole Nick/Adalind moving in together/having a baby storyline if the end intent is to pair her with Meisner.
