'Wesen locksmith' was a juxtaposition of the age old Grimm/Wesen adversarial relationship.
Do you really think if they had no keys or Grimm blood they were incapable of opening up a brass chest? As I recall, before Nick spreads his blood on the seal, Monroe said, paraphrasing; “Time to get my hack saw”.
BTW, as an ex-locksmith, when on one of many calls to the homes of the many, many moms locking themselves out of their homes after dropping off or picking up their kids from the school bus. We had a 2 hour minimum charge. If we could not pick the lock after one and a half hour. We took out the “UNIVERSAL LOCK PICK”. Also known as the “ROTARY PICK”. To all you non-locksmiths, you might know it as a “DRILL”. Yea a simple cordless or corded drill. Then we sold her a new lock.
So, Robyn, trust me, the last thing they needed was a key to open that chest. I just got upset that you said the Grimm blood opened up 2 locks. I was so upset, I had to beat the “WIFE” twice! Once for each lock! BTW, nice comeback on using “Wesen picking a lock”. Which is not a skill reserved for Wesen only and has absolutely no bearing on the argument, but a nice try!
