Now some time has past and i still find myself mourning the end of Grimm and it doesn't get any better.
Still can't (or won't) believe there will be no new Grimm season this fall.
To me it's no doubt there is a huge fanbase worldwide. I mean, just look at facebook, whenever one of the actors started a live chat, within seconds there were people from all over the world saying "Hi" and ask burning questions about the show and the characters.
From Brazil, from Europe, Asia and Australia.
The creators did that very good, tying literally "the whole world" together.
They have a huge amount of episodes addressing the Latino countries (La Llorona, El Cuegle and so on), with Wu they have the Asian aspect, they reference a whole lot to Europe, especially Germany and Austria.
I'm German and i can see, that for example on Amazon the Grimm-Blurays are selling VERY well, despite Universals very slow release schedule.
I know the sets have been torn down and already replaced with other sets and the actors moved on to other projects some time ago.
But just look at "The X files" which has a huge fanbase as well. Their 6-episodes-event-series on TV was very welcomed by the fans and now another new season of now 10 episodes is in the works and will start filming in a few weeks.
Twin Peaks got a continuation now, after 25 years, with 18 brand new episodes, airing right now at Showtime.
I certainly hope it doesn't take that long for new Grimm episodes with our beloved characters, as i really don't want to wait 20 or so years for that!
G&K are now involved in other projects and i wish them all the best with those, because they've given me my all-time favorite show which i love with all my heart - Grimm.
I know the last episode was titled "The End", but to me it's just the end of the BC/HW-era, but not the end of all fairy tales. There IS no end to fairy tales, people will always tell them and find new ones to tell, so i hope with all my heart that one day, in a few years from now, we will see Nick, Eve, Monrosalee, Adalind, Trubel, Wu, Hank and Renard again in a new mission. (While i'm writing this, tears are running down my cheeks..)
And i hope they do it like on the new "X-files", following a main story arc but as well giving us standalone episodes, those "wesen of the week" ones, because i love those so much and as a matter of fact i do miss those "wotw" the most.
I hope my praying will be heard and our beloved scooby gang is coming back together again one day.
I missed some shows a little after they ended, but now with Grimm gone this is a really "pain in the ass" so to say, it's almost as bad as lovesickness. It really hurts. I don't want this. Please come back, Grimm!
