Because Diana can read it. The date most likely has to do with her. We already know Diana has a destiny. With the way the show seems to go. The group will be fighting to stop it from coming true. How Eve was created and that Bitsie wrapped a few days before Nick and Adalind. I am thinking Eve will be the key.
Embrace your inner Biest..... We all have one

So is the stick trying to communicate warning Nick that their will be a war between hell and heaven good and evil. That the dead will rise
As for the stick, I like hearing ghost stories and this one suits it well. This teen had a magical something ..that he got and it could summon a demon through a mirror and grant the holder a wish. He wanted his father dead...(for what reason It did not say) so he summon the creature in the bathroom mirror..an it appeared with lots of hissing roaches, that could enter the real world so their bathroom was becoming full of roaches. But the boy continued as a green skinned bald thing appear and asked what the boy wanted. He ask the demon to kill his father...then suddenly a petrified man the boys father was being dragged by the roaches. And in a blink it ate him alive till there was nothing left..the boy smiled and thanked the demon..but the demon now wanted something in return. He wanted him and grabbed him and disappeared in the mirror.....the morale of the story becareful what you ask for you might just get it... and this stick appears to be going that direction.. maybe Nick should have never went to get it....it will be his undoing at the end

Diana is the key, she is the one who can see everything on the cloth. The producers hinted that Diana will have a major role in the finale in which the stick will play a big role. Of course they lie etc etc. But Eve will also play a role since she can see a few symbols on the cloth as well.

Adalind really needs to have "the talk" with Diana. And given their situation, it shouldn't be "don't kill people," but that killing people is just like making bottles float, there are right times to do it and wrong times to do it. And she should always talk to Mommy about whether it's the right time or wrong time before she does it.
That's Mommy. Not Daddy. Because Daddy makes friends with people who choke Mommy and want to hurt Kelly's daddy.

Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.

However Promos can be misleading too, would they give away such a major plotline or maybe what it is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Another depiction of the Sumerian star chart which looks a wee like the drawings on the cloth

If the chart/calendar/whatever depicts dates, I wonder if they're relative or absolute. If it's relative, then it's a warning about what's going to happen if the stick is ever used, and how soon. If it's absolute, then that means Nick and Monroe's discovery of the stick was actually prophesied.

Nick goes to hell, is busted out by Castiel in a weird crossover. Or someone makes a deal with a crossroads demon and trades their soul for Nick's. That someone dies. Everyone is happy and crying at the same time. The end
Do you guys remember the episode called Revelation....S3 E13. Most viewers have come to the idea that the stick is to do more evil than good, but what if it is the other way round? What if the stick is meant to save the world, and possible save the world from Diana? What if this was what the cast meant when they said "It all comes back in many folds"?, What if this stick is to change Diana's destiny from destroying the world?
Since we know the stick is more religious based, the name of the episode could be the begining of what is to come in S6.... After the scene with Monroe, his father and Nick talking....they show the cottage where Diana is born. |
