Going even further, the only one out of all of this who stated the child could have a good or evil destiny is............tada....................Kelly. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't remember any covert groups getting together in smoke filled rooms, planning how they can use Diana to cause world war 3 and at the same time, come out the winner.
So you have a grimm with no scruples telling a small group of impressionable people that this child has a good/evil destiny, so they must hand over the child to *her* as *she* is the only one who can make sure Diana doesn't use her powers at all.
I read your post. Did you read mine? It was cruel to remove Diana from Adalind. But that wasn't all I was talking about. Adalind's life was in danger too. Kelly cut her loose and left her out in the open.
If organizations like the HW, BC, The Wesen Council etc. all could collapse in a short period of time, why would leaving Diana with the resistance ensure she did not end up in the wrong hands? The point was that she was to powerful to be part of any war.
With all due respect, why were the royals desperate to get Diana if she wasn’t so important? Why did Z want her if she wasn’t so important? The child having a good or evil destiny was one of the main plots of season 6. It was clearly not something Kelly just made up to kidnap a child!
Yes, I did read your post. I’m sure Kelly the Grimm did not consider the safety or well-being of her son's Hexenbiest enemy the most important factor. Kelly was an old school Grimm who believed you had to sacrifice a lot for the greater good. It turned out they were wrong about Adalind. But she had just stared her transformation and the kidnapping triggered stuff that changed her even more. I'm sure Nick had bad conscience when he became a father himself and stared caring about her.
