Nick and Trubel being revealed to be relatives will feel kind of cheesy to me. They don't need to copy the OUAT route of connecting everyone by blood or familial relations.Thank you. To me, Nick and Trubel act like family, so learning they're related by blood doesn't add value to their family relationship/commitment. It’s more like just another freaky incident.
I suppose it could matter if there's power in Grimm blood from the same line being capable of defeating just about anything but I don't see that happening either given the importance of Hexenbiests in this showdown.

The storyline may also include Trubel calling on her ancestors to enhance her strength. My only point was that Nick and Trubel being blood related doesn't necessarily add value to their relationship. It already has value because they feel like a family. Everyone has their point of view. I won’t see Trubel as more special just because she shares Nick’s bloodline. And for all we know, all Grimms share the same bloodline(s) to varying degrees.
