lol, what a twisted web we weave, huh?
Actually, I was going to bring this up in the Juliette/Eve thread but since we're talking irony, I'll bring it up here.
It's a funny thing about Juliette because there's something about her that doesn't get applied to any other character.
For instance, the betrayal of Kelly and the destruction of the trailer. Before Juliette became a hexenbiest, she never, ever would have betrayed Kelly or torched the trailer. It just wasn't in her character to do so. Once she became a hexenbiest, sure, the hexenbiest would do something like that. But here's the weird part. Nick and the scoobies seemed to view these actions as something that Juliette would do, not something that 'Juliette-the-hexenbiest' would do.
Even in that goofy restaurant scene in the latest fiasco, Nick is still suffering from tunnel vision. He tells Eve, 'you set my mother up'. Juliette didn't do that. Juliette-the-hexenbiest did.
However, when Renard did the Jack the Ripper gig, no one at any time told Renard, 'Sean, you killed those girls'. It was, "Sean, you were not at fault. Jack the Ripper took over." When Sean was reverted back to human again, he regretted what he did to the girls.
It was the same thing with Nick-the-Zombie. Nick didn't kill the guy in the bar. Nick-the-Zombie did. When Nick and the Zombie parted ways, Nick felt regret for what he did and was going to turn himself in.
There are so many people on this forum alone who believe Juliette should be repentant, and feel cheated that Eve won't be expected to even experience the slightest regret over what she did.
Problem is, Juliette never returned to human form. I think it's ironic that a character who has been totally tampered with to the point of no return is expected to be penitent, yet two main characters who were also tampered with, but were restored aren't even expected to be repentant. It just so happened that once they were human again, they experienced regret. It seems likely that if Eve were ever restored back to Juliette the human, Juliette would be appalled at her actions and would be repentant.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
