The events of that night were more than just Juliette betraying Kelly and Nick retaliating. All of the sudden Meisner's in the picture. Juliette doesn't get on the helicopter but instead heads home to confront Nick, for what reason we don't know. During their fight, Trubel conveniently shows up with tranquilized arrows. Not long after mysterious figures burst into Nick's house, abduct Juliette and Trubel, and clean his house, leaving no trace. Someone was watching Juliette and the only way they'd be watching Juliette is if someone else talked. I think she was betrayed.
In prior episodes, we see Chavez, an FBI agent who is also a member of HW, keeping a close watch on Trubel. That’s how they were there to clean up after her. and learn on what the Royals had accomplished. Meisner being on the helicopter shows us that HW had just enough time to intervene and plant Meisner on the chopper and probably expected Juliette to be on board. Instead they grabbed Juliette at the house almost dead.
As for Trubel showing up? She was there earlier and was mistakenly identified by Verat. We see Trubel looking over the remains of the trailer then shows up at the house while Juliette was in the house waiting on Kelly. Juliette gets a call from Kenneth telling her there is someone by the door and they identified her as "Just a Kid". A fatal mistake for Verat.
Nick thought she was dead but he is a detective and not a medical expert and assumed wrong. As we later find out what really happened, when Juliette resurfaces as Eve and Trubel spills the beans to Nick, what actually happened on that night.
Juliette was never betrayed by anyone. She, and the Royals were just outsmarted by HW/FBI. To be betrayed, someone in the Royals or Verat would have to been involved. Let’s just say, there was someone in the Verat gang that did? What’s the point? Will it justify or excuse what she did? Would a jury have pardoned her because she was betrayed by a criminal enterprise on a criminal act?
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
