If it was in Brazil, I think in a first moment Brazilian would look at wesen with curiosity. Some would be afraid of them, but in a first moment I think we would threat them well. Since wesen doesn’t exist, I am considering how Brazilians deal with people from another countries living here. As a society, we are supporting, for example, many people running away from Syria, for example.
But, we also have some people that don’t like the people from other places or from different opinions. So we would have some of them saying that we need to fight the wesen. But I see the bad things happening too. For example, I see bad politicians using wesen in their campaigns (just like it already happen with poor people). I see the organized crime wanting to use wesen as crime soldiers. I can also see wesen as leaders of those crime groups. And that is what I think can be the biggest problem.
I see the some wesen people growing in their activities. I mean: wesen lawers (with social skills) be better them the humans lawers; Wesen politicians growing in the wesen community; wesen criminals being more effective and even more violent than the humans… See: I am not saying that all wesen will be criminals (or lawers, or whatever…). What I am saying is that some of them will be criminals and those the criminals will call more attention than the honest wesen that live his life under the radar.
I worried that once those bad wesen starts to be shown as the bad guys, the overall population starts to believe it happens with all wesen society. I am saying that because this is something that already happen here in some situations.
That is how I see a possible outcome of wesen existence in Brazil.
Thanks, Adriano. My cousin married a lady whose homeland was Rio. It was a very interesting wedding because they came to our hometown and held the wedding here. I imagined that, being from a country so far away, it would be difficult and awkward for them to come here. But when we were introduced to them, they turned out to be warm and wonderful people. The wedding occurred on a night when we had a thunder snowstorm and many of the guests couldn't make it in due to cancelled flights. But despite the small turnout, it turned out to be a really nice wedding. What I found equally interesting was the many small gifts they handed out to the guests. Many of the gifts turned out to be reflective of what would be encountered if one traveled to Brazil. For instance, they had toy caiman necklaces for the kids that lit up and a special fruit drink that is found in Brazil. It made me wonder if many of the people of Brazil are like she was, happy, warm and friendly.
If so, that brings me to my next comment. Obviously there are wesen in Brazil. Wouldn't they too, adapt the customs of the country and if brought up in a warm and friendly environment, be warm and friendly themselves?
