He is doing unpaid volunteer work. Hr could have been like Josh's dad and not done it.. He could have been like Trouble and gotten paid--I'm not sure what that bike cost with all the doodads, but it wasn't cheap.(02-06-2018, 01:05 PM)rpmaluki Wrote: Again when did Nick make actual money from grimming specifically
When he gave up adhering to his oath as a law enforcement officer and turned toward grimmdom. Oh he continued to collect his pay, not as a law enforcement officer, but as a grimm. He's still classified as a detective, technically for the books, but then a lot of the written documentation as in reports done by and about him was doctored anyway. We never heard him tell Monroe, "Boy, I'm sure glad I lost my powers. Now I can really concentrate on being a detective". Instead his words were: "The problem is, I like being a grimm. And I'm pissed that it was taken away from me. Maybe I didn't want to admit it, but I want it back".
In other words, he considers himself a grimm and is getting paid for it.

Your "maintain their quality of life" statement makes it sound like they are making money of grimming.
This is ironic, coming from you. In your previous post, you posed the question what would there be for Nick to live off of if all he did was grimm work. Yet you expect the kids to do just that.
