People are touchy because you make bs up simply because you don’t like the charecter, if it had any basis whatsoever in show people wouldn’t have a problem but it’s made up. Renard was the one making money because of his activities outside the precinct not Nick. Renard didn’t have a clue Nick was going to Germany, Nick just told Renard he was going out of town for a few days, so the police department hardly paid for his trip. You just can’t accept the fact Nick is a hero in this show, he’s the good guy if you don’t like tough, the shows about him.
All I'm saying is Nick is getting paid for being a grimm. I think that's what you don't like.
Nick could've joined HW if he wanted to be paid for being a Grimm. He saw Trubel was being handsomely rewarded for her services and he knew they wanted Grimms for a certainty.
Nick got paid for being a cop. He just happened to work with Renard as his captain, whom had plenty of humans cops at the precinct. Nick made a good living before learning he was a Grimm. He had a nice house in a major city and a woman he was living with for years whom he was about to propose. None of that had anything to do with being Grimm.
Besides, Nick still went to work when he lost his powers. He even told Bud that he could still help him if he had a problem because he's still a cop.
You're saying something that has no merit. You could've said Trubel and Kelly got paid for being Grimms and received no argument.
