That's a sad fact because instead of debating, that's what you do.
Your imitation of the other here just makes you look foolish. You actually used to post some very good commentary. Now, whenever Adalind or even Nick is brought up in a debate, you take the position that it's a personal slight against you, not a statement made about an imaginary character.
Grimm is a series that is open to interpretation. Just because you disagree doesn't make it less so. And if you don't believe me, go looking through the threads from the first days of the forum. Do you really believe I was the first to question Nick's police procedures? Think again. All that, even threads you yourself have participated in and developed, have origins in ideas way back when the forum was new.
I have questioned Adalind's choice to take herself and baby Kelly to the mansion ever since I saw it. Moreso, when I saw how appalled Rosalee was when she watched Adalind posing with Renard on television.
Quote:How could she get Diania without going to the mansion,
She herself ended up trapped and deliberately brought the baby with her, resulting in his entrapment. She had access to her daughter, but only as a prisoner herself.
Quote:also Boneparte directly threatens Nick and Kelly’s life you can make up what ever suits your anti Adalind agenda if you wish but Adalind herself as well as actors David and Claire have stated during interviews that Adalind only went to the mansion to protect her children and Nick.
Please explain just how well Adalind managed to protect them after Bonaparte slipped a ring on her finger and told her to behave herself or her children would suffer.
I know you're keen on what the actors say. I do not consider that conducive to anything other than they're asked to give interviews and so they do. I recall the big hoopla when Claire released a part of her script that made it sound as though Eve was fighting with Adalind over Nick. All that turned out to be was a stunt, geared at firing up viewers. As you know, Eve was never after Nick, nor was there ever the remote hint of a triangle between her, Adalind, and Nick.
Yet Claire didn't say anything about that. So go ahead, believe everything they say. But consider that they're paid employees and the Juliette/Eve versus Adalind feud has polarized viewers since season one. The actors are capitalizing on that.
Quote:It had nothing to do with not having confidence in Nick, Dania was crying for her mummy and Boneparte was threatening Nick and her children including Dania
It had a great deal to do with confidence in Nick. If it hadn't Rosalee wouldn't have been so shocked. She would have naturally sided with Adalind's wish to be with Diana. You seem to forget that since day one, Adalind has been a planner who looks out for herself. While she hasn't been the greatest witch to walk into the series, she's always managed to be one who others look out for. Please don't confuse this with some kind of love. I'm not saying that.
When she went to get her hexenbiest, she stayed in a very fine hotel. I doubt she was paying for it.
Later, when going after Diana, she was a prisoner of the royals, but then ended up being looked after and staying again, in some fine hotels.
Kenneth boots her out, and that very day Adalind hotfoots it for Nick. She manages to not only insinuate herself into the situation, but that very day ends up as a permanent guest in Nick's house until BC comes on to the scene.
At that point, Renard gets made mayor, Adalind is threatened, but not physically forced to go to the mansion. She makes the decision to go to Renard, and ends up being looked after in a mansion.
Adalind has always looked out for number one and later, her children. It doesn't matter to her if she herself ends up a prisoner. They are all being looked after, including Diana.
Quote:she made a decision under the pressure of threats agianst her family , she thought going to the mansion was the best way to protect them all. Diania appearing to Adalind saying were are you mommy ,Bonaparte threating Nick and her children all occurred in th space of about 24 hors she didn’t have time to think anything fully through and she wanted Diania and wanted to keep Kelly and Nick safe and figured this was her only choice.
If Adalind's intent was to keep Nick safe, it was one of the biggest secrets of the series. He ended up being captured by Bonaparte. Eve and company had to go save him, not Adalind.
The fact of the matter is, Adalind lost confidence in what Nick could do to save her and her kids. I'm not blaming her. Posters here have commented on how powerful BC was. Adalind herself would be an imbecile if she didn't study the situation and how it could affect her and her children.
But, as you are so focused on Adalind's magnanimous gesture by including Nick in her circle of protection, I will leave you with this final question. If, as you state, Adalind did all of this to help Nick, why then wasn't Nick aware of it?
I didn't call you any names your opinions on this are biased trash made up by you, made up from thin air, it Is show canon Adalind was protecting nick beacuse she said so in a note, anything a else is made up BS by a biased poster who does nothing but make up stories that were not presented in the show its not fact Adalind lost confidence in Nick it’s soley your opinion, Adalind left Nick because she was blackmailed to do so.
As for the actors they are a creditable source for information only the writers are a more creditable source than them, you on the other hand just make up things to suit your own biased narrative so why listen to you.
How exactly would Adalind know Nick was caputured by Boneparte, he had Nick in the other precinct she was in locked up in the mansion, Adalind doesn’t have a crystal ball to see into the future. It’s wasnt a secret Adalind was trying to keep Nick as she siad she was protecting him you must have just ingroed that fact as usual, as well as the fact she warned the gang Bonaparte was coming, she also threatened to kill Renard if he hurt Nick ,sometimes I wonder if you even watched this show at all.
Rosalee held no hard feelings towards Adalind at all in season 6 and even said how hard it must have been for Adalind. once agian you ridiculous point is invalid.
It was Adalind and Diania who help save Nick from Boneparte at the end of 5x22 while Eve was injured after being defeated by Boneparte. Adalind worried about Nick constantly while in the mansion even though she was only there for a few days. She explained exactly why she had to leave and Nick and he accepted her reasoning which is why he showed no hard feelings towards her in season 6 neither did the rest of the gang.
If Adalind had lost confidence in Nick as you claim then why was she so keen to bring her daughter back to the loft to live with Nick. Why was see so keen to defy Boneparte and Renard and why did she try to help or warn Nick every chance she got. According to most sources I’ve have read Adalind was only at the mansion a matter of days and yet she contacted nick and or warned him of danger on servreal occasions in season 5 and early season 6.
If Adalind had truly lost confidence in Nick why was she so heartbroken to leave him, infact the only other time she was anywhere near that heartbroken is when Diania was taken, clearly she desperately didn’t want to leave Nick. She turned down a mansion and a position as a mayors wife in order to help Nick bring down Renard in early season 6, yet you claim she has no confidence in Nick, sometimes your really are haloruois. Adalind could have easily given in to Boneparte and Renards demands, she could have helped them bring down Nick the way Juliette helped the Royals bring down Kelly but she refused to due to loyalty to Nick. She could have given he body to Renard the way Juliette to Kenneth and Renard but she refused to do so even when magically complied by Diania beacuse of loyalty to Nick.
She sat in her and Nicks loft crying her eyes out saying I can’t take you away from your daddy but I can’t give up on Diana ether. Clearly she didn’t want to leave Nick but was worried about Diania. It had nothing to do with her lack of faith in Nick it was about protecting her children and Nick second which is excatly hoe]w it should be.
In 6x01 in the opening scene she was nearly in tears rocking Kelly in her arms saying Nick would be ok clearly her worry for nick was constantly on her mind, any unbiased viewer could see that.
Parade interview
Nick and Adalind have quite the history. What would you like to see happen for them?
Claire coffee
I try not to think, “Oh, what would I like to see?’ because it’s so different for me as an actress vs. for Adalind. I think what Adalind would like is to be back with Nick, be happy, and be able to establish a family with him. I think Adalind firmly believes that Nick and company are on the right side, and she wants to be, too. She doesn’t want to go back to her evil roots, and she doesn’t want to be working with Black Claw. So she’d like to be back with them, and so at this point, it’s just figuring out a way to get back there.
Irk, If Adalind lacks confidence in Nick then why according to Claire Coffee is all she wants to do is establish a family with nick, she would hardly want a family with a man she lost confidence in.
Here is a fact for you
The below note that have posted a link to is thr note Adalind left Nick saying I have to protect you so much for Adalind protecting Nick being hidden it’s fact.
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/grim...t=original
Please provide a similar fact that says she wasn’t protecting Nick but looking out solely for herself if not this debate is over beacuse I’m providing facts your just providing your opinion. By the way the only thing painfully obvious is your inability to actually accept what happened on scree like the note above.
This proves how invalid your useles point about Rosalee is script from 6x02-
Adalind-Thank you so much for doing this.
Rosalee-I can't even imagine what you're going through, considering what's going on.
Clearly by her statment above Rosalee understands why Adalind did what she did and doesn’t hold a grudge. The only time Rosalee was negative about Adalind was towards the end of season 5 when she didn’t understand fully why Adalind did what she did.
