Adalind was great with spells and manipulation but never was a physical hexenbiest. when she told Nick to sleep with her she was human and felt safe with Nick in the room protecting Kelly I see nothing wrong with that at all.Henry, I’ve never forgotten that Adalind had two children, and have repeatedly stated that Adalind had two children during S5, not just the one fathered by Nick. Until Adalind took him to BC, Kelly had always been safe because Adalind had the benefit of a support group. She didn’t have that with Diana and was totally on her own in S5 when it came to Diana. There is a huge disconnect in Nick/Adalind in that she was falling in love with him but didn’t believe she could tell him what she knew about Diana and ask for help.
My bad, I interpreted helpless because the reason Adalind supposedly didn’t attempt to find Diana was because she was incapable on her own and had no resources to reach out to. That sounds pretty helpless to me.
What ultimately happened with Viktor is known through hindsight. Adalind didn’t know how things would turn out when she left for Europe. And actually, the only reason she went to Viktor was because of the lie that Viktor had Diana.
Adalind was human and pregnant while living & sleeping alone in Europe. There’s nothing to indicate she asked Nick to sleep with her while they lived in his/Juliette’s house. So yes, G & K made Adalind a wimpy scaredy cat because they wanted Nick/Adalind in the same bed, but it’s the character who’s stuck with bad writing/characterization.

Adalind was also indirectly involved in what happened to Juliette in season 4. If Nick can get over all this and go out of his way to keep her safe why shouldn’t she have fallen in love with him. Then perhaps he should have addressed those issues somewhere between Adalind declaring her love and him taking his pants off.

I hold Kelly and Sean the most responsible for the kidnapping and Nick a very close 3rd.Right, Nick asked Renard, twice. But it’s not Renard declaring his love while having sex with Nick.
