Adalind prevented Adalind from leaving because she was unable or unwilling to take responsibility for herself and her children. I’m not downplaying Renard’s anger or determination at the time, but Adalind had her full Hexenbiest powers and chose not to use them. It makes sense that Adalind preferred not to have a physical fight with Renard because of Diana’s reaction, but if she really believed they were in danger, she could have and should have used her Hexenbiest to get away from Renard. Plus, Adalind didn’t postpone moving back in with Nick despite Diana’s reaction or her desperation to keep her parents together.1) Sean made it clear he wanted to kill Nick and was using his full mayor elect & police powers to do it.
2) Rosalee and Monroe and others were at risk as well.
3) Sean reminded Adalind about the cursed ring.
4) Nick's credit cards & banks are frozen so that means Adalind's money is frozen.
5) Diana had just killed two people that night unlike a week later when Adalind moves out and had more time to talk to her.
6) Two times Nick asked Adalind not to leave since he thought Sean would go after Adalind and Kelly if she left him.
7) Adalind did not come with a car so she was using a taxi or driving Sean's car. I think stealing Sean's car would not be a good way to leave him.
Adalind used her hexenbiests powers for the trust me knots and helped with the potion.

She would already know first hand how difficult it was to be on the run with a baby. Watch Kelly’s facial expressions and demeanor during the conversation. Kelly wasn’t making idle chitchat and wasn’t interested in helping Adalind get some rest.
Kelly at that point never had a baby on the run. IMO Kelly felt sorry she left Nick because at the end of day he did not benefit the way Kelly thought he would. Nick was the one who found the coins and his dad's murders. Kelly told Nick never to leave your loved ones. IMO Kelly taking Diana later was a way to say I was wrong I should have took you as a baby with me and gone on the run. Nick's dad may have lived longer.

The Resistance took all the risk getting Adalind and the baby out of Europe while Renard was safely living his life in Portland. I doubt the Resistance knew anything about Adalind and the baby other than what Renard told them. As for Kelly not taking Adalind to Portland & Nick if she’d know about his past with her - Adalind was adamant that she didn’t want to go to Portland or to Nick’s, Kelly ignored her.
It was shown that the Resistance discovered moles/traitors before, but Kelly and Renard are the only defectors in the Adalind/Diana situation. Kelly almost immediately told the pilots they couldn’t go to the scheduled destination. Why didn’t Kelly, Adalind, and the baby get back in the car with Meisner and send the plane to it’s scheduled destination so the Royals would believe they were in route to Brazil while the Resistance was coming up with a new plan? Staying in Europe/returning to the cabin would have been the last strategy the Royals expected.
Meisner had to leave Europe and the airport right away for his safety.
Before Diana's birth Meisner and Sean were betrayed by a resistance mole while in Europe. Tavitian was candidate for the mole then too. IMO Tavitian was the mole that why he accused Sean of being the mole. He did not want Sean and Meisner to figure him out. Who made the deal with Viktor later about the king? It makes sense Tavitian make the deal and had Meisner take the risk. Why was Tavitian not taking any risks? He took less risks than Sean.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
