But I’m not so sure about friends in high places. HW didn’t send forces to counter BC’s final assault on their compound or on Nick. They assigned Trubel a new assignment and instructed her to bring the Grimm, which Nick declined. I’m not seeing any indication that HW considers Portland a necessary site to protect or the Grimm & his people as assets. If they did, I don’t think Trubel would have been reassigned, but rather, Eve, Trubel, and Nick would have been working strategy with HW to complete the Portland objective. As it is, I think HW has written off Portland for now. And when Nick refused to leave with Trubel to fight HW’s war, I think they wrote him off too.
Documents will be the least of their problems. And they don't need for Rosalee to get fake ones. The scoobies now have friends in high places who can get them real ones.
But, you know, I don’t see that Nick has anyone outside his little group. He went to Bud when on the run. He didn’t have anyone unaware of the Grimm thing who would have believed a good cop had been set up or a working relationship established after an arrest. Nada.

Compound that with Diana doing a number on Adalind - projecting her image to Adalind, telling her how much she needs mommy, and making Adalind believe Renard called to warn her she was out of time. But I need to believe if none of that happened Adalind would have eventually gone to Renard for the chance to finally have Diana. I need to believe that the show won’t portray Adalind as choosing Nick over her daughter. Of course, I’m smart enough not to hold my breath.(01-22-2017, 12:13 AM)irukandji Wrote: I didn't care for the way Adalind left Nick at the end of season five to live with Renard. I understand she went because she wanted Diana back and I thought that in comparing the two men, Renard was the better alternative. No, Adalind left Nick because Conrad came to see her, talked to her about different ways one could lose someone, then told her that being with Nick was "unhealthy for you and Kelly" (i.e., if you stay with the Grimm we will kill you and your son), and gave her until the end of the day to decide. Unstated but obvious in that threat was that Adalind would also never see Diana again (because Adalind would be dead).
