And if not, Adalind would have had that time to recognize that Diana might not be capable of harnessing her powers and impulsive reactions.
I didn't care for the way Adalind left Nick at the end of season five to live with Renard. I understand she went because she wanted Diana back and I thought that in comparing the two men, Renard was the better alternative. He could provide much better resources her and the children than Nick could.
But when Adalind moved back in with baby Kelly, she made it apparent from the getgo that she was not going to play the happy wife. That didn't seem to make much of an impact on Renard, but it did on Diana. That is Adalind's fault. She created an unfit environment for her children and forced them to endure it.
I don't think she's conflicted with regard to Diana. I think she's being selfish. She's desperate to be with Nick and her kids are going to suffer because of her choice.
The posts on the forum seem to indicate that Diana is not happy with Nick and I think that is true. But is it Nick that Diana will go after or will it be Adalind herself?
