Adalind trying to blame someone as the father is a plot twist. We know it is a plot twist because she said she was trying to blame someone. At henreitta's her realization of who the father was. is a narrative statement.
Why would she risk her baby by not blaming someone else for the baby? Why would Adalind risk her baby for nothing to gain to tell the truth Juliette who has been attacking her? If Adalind told the truth a mocking way, I bet Juliette would have not believed that either?
IMO Ken waited for Adalind to leave the hotel without the guards. That is when he had Juliette's bail paid. That way Adalind would still be at the station when Juliette got there. Ken was very smart and set everything up.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
