She was looking for acceptance. That's what some shippers are arguing against Nick and Adalind. It looks like he accepted her but never did Juliette and based on the ending, I seems it was accurate but not for shipping purposes. Nick felt guilty for what happened to Juliette, he thought Eve was better off if things went back to the way they were for her, when she was just human Juliette. Juliette came to accept her situation, messed up as it was but Nick couldn't, he wanted to fix her in S4 and he was content when he heard she wasn't a hexenbiest anymore in S6 because he thought he knew what was best for her.
I agree with you. Nick's guilt was in the way of a good relationship with Juliette/Eve.
Why IMO Nick accepted Adalind as a hexenbiest:
1) Adalind was born a hexenbiest.
2) Adalind was not as powerful a hexenbiest as Juliette.
3) Adalind never expected Nick to kiss her woged.
4) At first Adalind took the suppressant which allowed Nick to get to know her and when it wore off she really did not change.
5) Adalind was really not interested in being an active hexenbiest except when she had to for the family she had not even read all of her mom's books. Juliette/Eve wanted to learn more about being hexenbiest.
Seriously, do you believe that?
I don't buy anything of it - she just wanted to be somewhere- who she was protected before the evil evil Juliette the poor little Adalind...That I don't laugh.
A few key - points are okay but I contradict you : )
1. ) Juliette was no wesen when she was born.
2. ) It's not Juliette problem.
3. ) Juliette wanted to see if Nick accept her Hexenbiest the way, she did accept his grimm.
4 . ) What should Adalind do in an differently way - the group of Nick was the only one where she could go too.
5. ) She did not want to be a Hexenbiest xD but did everything to get her Hexebiest back - even sold her first born baby...sure later she changed her mind...I would be very interested to know what Diana would say to it - when she would learn to know why she would be sold...
Diana loves her mother, she knows her mother loves her in return. Knowing that Adalind did everything she could to keep Diana speaks much more than the one mistake of wanting to sell her. Adalind isn't ignorant of everything she did in the past even though some viewers are bent on holding it against her forever. She is working towards being the best mother for her children, in the end, that's the only thing that's going to matter to Diana, that her mother wants her and loves her now, compared to those few months where she was bitter and angry because those people Adalind believed loved her turned out to value her as long as she was a hexenbiest.
