Is that what the call it these days? Love - really? Let's see in 5 seasons she has screwed at least 5 different guys (don't forget Hank)and been knocked up twice and she did not have a substantial relationship with her either of her baby's daddies.
I have had jars of peanut butter that were more difficult to spread than Adalind. She is a slut, pure and simple. She may be a likable or even lovable one, but a slut none the less.
Do whores fall in love? I suspect part of the problem is some cannot distinguish between infatuation, love and lust, others simply cannot create a substantive bond that lasts beyond infatuation, and others yet use sex as a tool to get what they want. I am not sure what is Adalind's case, but she is a complete and total slut none the less.
Adalind is the girl you live with and boink for three to five years, and then when you finally decide you want to marry you dump her and end up walking down the aisle with someone else who is not the town whore.
NBC is aware of the adage, "sex sells":

Indeed there are notches on Adalind's sex pistol. IMO, she is deserving to be called a "slut.":

Her "men" are no saints. One on-line dictionary says to call a male-slut a "stud." Some cannot find a better noun and just call them a "male-slut":

Regardless of the noun chosen, the act is "fornication":

Interesting historical note about common law:
Quote:Under the Common Law, the crime of fornication consisted of unlawful sexual intercourse between an unmarried woman and a man, regardless of his marital status. If the woman was married, the crime was Adultery. From a trigonometry view, how will The Grimm, Nick, see the Rachel-Renard-Adalind triangle? This is a thread about Nick.

Don't want to seem pedantic here, but more properly a "male slut" would be called a "satyr".
